Soak in soothing sitzbath 1-3 times a day after delivery for up to 2 weeks. Place a handful (approx. 1/3 cup) into a quart of boiling water. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Strain out herbs and add remaining liquid to warm water in Sitztub, available at most pharmacies. Less conveniently, a large bowl or small tub may be used instead. Do not over-dilute in a full bathtub.
