AfterBirth Sitzbath, Postpartum Herbal Soak

In the days and weeks after birth, the vagina and surrounding tissue can be irritated. In traditional midwifery, sitzbath soaks are used to soothe irritations and strengthen delicate tissues. Our AfterBirth Sitzbath is formulated with strong but gentle botanicals to nourish a postpartum mom.

Soak in soothing sitzbath 1-3 times a day after delivery for up to 2 weeks as irritation persists.

Place 1/3 cup of herbs into a quart of boiling water. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Strain out herbs and add remaining liquid into a Sitztub or shallow bath (do not over-dilute). Soak 1-3 times per day after delivery.

For topical use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
