Description

Seasonal changes don’t pause for pregnancy. Kick-Ass Allergy for Pregnancy provides gentle, fast-acting herbal support for a healthy histamine response.

Crafted with traditional southwestern herbs trusted by the midwifery community for decades, this formula features Yerba Santa, Nettle, Echinacea and Cinnamon.

Together, they support a healthy histamine response and overall immune balance.

It uses a low-alcohol apple cider vinegar base designed with expectant mothers in mind—especially those already taking multiple herbal formulas.

Founded by a midwife in 1979, our formulas are rooted in decades of hands-on herbal practice.*

Recommended Use Strategies: #1

Use Strategies
"Half of it is the awesome formulas...the other half is how you use them!"

#1 Fastest Effect Strategy - Volume: To achieve in-the-moment results, take one serving in a little water; repeat serving as needed. Think ‘enough volume here to get the job done’. Volume needs differ from person to person based on their constitution and the issue at hand.

Initially take the suggested amount in a small amount of water, juice or tea to taste. With familiarity, can be taken directly for convenience.

Contains <10% alcohol. Consult a qualified midwife or healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before use. If you have a medical condition or take medications, please consult your healthcare practitioner before use. Herbs in Action
  • Yerba Santa leaf: Eriodictyon spp. (californicum, angustifolium, crassifolium, and trichocalyx) means "sacred herb" and was traditionally revered in its native California for its powerful health benefits. Today it is used to support a healthy histamine response, promote optimal immune function, normalize mucus membranes, and calm runaway mucus production.
  • Nettle leaf: Urtica dioica is most known as a common weed. It is a deeply nourishing tonic and helps support a healthy histamine response.
  • Echinacea Angustifolia root: Echinacea angustifolia is well-known for its seasonal wellness support. Echinacea seems to activate chemicals in the body that support a healthy inflammatory response and activates the body's immune system.
  • Cinnamon bark: Cinnamomum burmanii and C. cassia supports healthy microbial balance and promotes overall immune and respiratory wellness.

Kick-Ass Allergy For Pregnancy FAQs

Why does this formula use apple cider vinegar instead of the standard alcohol base?
WishGarden reduced the alcohol content below 10% and added organic apple cider vinegar out of an abundance of caution for expectant mothers. Many pregnant women take multiple tinctures simultaneously, and this reformulation keeps cumulative alcohol levels at the recommended threshold for pregnancy.
Is this formula safe throughout all trimesters of pregnancy?
We recommend waiting until the 2nd trimester to use Kick-Ass Allergy for pregnancy unless otherwise advised by a qualified practitioner. As with any supplement, consult with a medical professional before use.
How is this different from the regular adult Kick-Ass Allergy?
The pregnancy formula uses echinacea angustifolia (instead of e. purpurea), replaces orange peel with cinnamon bark and features the low-alcohol ACV base. These changes are specifically designed for pregnancy safety.
What does the pregnancy formula taste like?
The ACV base gives it a floral, slightly tart character. Cinnamon bark adds warmth. It's milder and less bitter than the adult Kick-Ass Allergy. If you're sensitive to strong tastes during pregnancy, mixing it in juice helps.
Can I take this alongside other WishGarden pregnancy products?
Yes. The low-alcohol ACV base was designed so pregnant women can take this alongside other WishGarden pregnancy tinctures like Morning Sickness Relief or Immune Boost for Pregnancy. Always consult with a practitioner when choosing the right herbal support for you.
What makes WishGarden a trusted brand for pregnancy herbalism?
WishGarden was founded in 1979 by a trained midwife who began crafting herbal tinctures to support midwives and expectant mothers. Pregnancy formulas are where WishGarden started, and midwifery heritage remains central to the brand.
My allergies also come with sinus congestion. Should I use this or something else?
For allergies plus sinus pressure during pregnancy, we recommend adding in Congestion Rescue for Pregnancy. Kick-Ass Allergy focuses on histamine response (sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose), while Congestion Rescue targets sinus and upper respiratory support.
Is Kick-Ass Allergy for Pregnancy kosher?
No, Kick-Ass Allergy for pregnancy is not kosher certified.
Is Kick-Ass Allergy for Pregnancy organic or have other certifications?
Kick-Ass Allergy for Pregnancy is gluten-free and vegan. The formula contains all organic ingredients except for yerba santa which is sustainably wildcrafted. Due to the wildcrafted ingredient, the formula as a whole is not certified organic. We do extensive in-house and 3rd party testing for quality, purity and safety.
