Plus, it's easy to make with just a few simple ingredients.
An oxymel is an ancient medicinal preparation that combines honey and vinegar to create a sweet-and-sour herbal extract, traditionally used to make bitter or strong-tasting herbs more palatable while preserving their therapeutic properties.
Orange peel, often discarded but incredibly rich in vitamin C, bioflavonoids, and essential oils, provides powerful immune support and helps improve digestion by stimulating digestive enzymes. The warming properties of fresh ginger enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and add natural antimicrobial benefits, while apple cider vinegar supports healthy gut bacteria and helps the body absorb minerals more effectively.
This vibrant tonic can be taken by the spoonful daily as a preventive measure, diluted in sparkling water for a refreshing immune-boosting drink, or used as needed during seasonal challenges when your body needs extra support. The beautiful balance of sweet honey and tangy vinegar makes this traditional remedy as delicious as it is therapeutic.
