Transform your bathtub into a therapeutic pre-sleep ritual with this aromatic blend of sleep-promoting herbs and soothing minerals.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Epsom salts
- 1/2 cup sea salt (fine grain)
- 2 tablespoons dried chamomile flowers
- 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds
- 1 tablespoon dried passionflower
- 1 tablespoon dried lemon balm
- 1/4 cup powdered milk (optional, for skin softening)
- 5 drops lavender essential oil
- 3 drops chamomile essential oil
Equipment
- Medium mixing bowl
- Whisk or spoon
- Airtight glass storage container
- Small measuring cup for portioning
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine Epsom salts and sea salt. Whisk together to remove any clumps.
- Add powdered milk (if using) and mix until evenly distributed.
- Add all dried herbs and gently fold into the salt mixture.
- Drop essential oils throughout the mixture, then thoroughly blend to distribute the oils evenly.
- Transfer to an airtight glass container for storage.
